My story
From the Bond Desk to AI Search
I started my career in the bond markets, in fixed-income sales and high-yield trading, first on the corporate bond desk at RBS and then in fixed-income sales at ANZ. As the junior on the desk, I wrote the daily and monthly market notes that went out to clients. I didn’t know it then, but that was the job that set up everything after it.
When I left banking, I started writing about finance for a living. First for clients on Upwork, then for publications like Bitcoin Magazine and Investopedia. Knowing what a bond trader or a fund manager actually cares about made the difference. Most finance writers were writers who’d learned finance. I was a finance person who’d learned to write.
That writing turned into a team, and the team turned into Rise Up Media. When buyers started asking ChatGPT instead of Google, the agency’s work moved with them.
Why me
What Makes Alex Different
Finance Experience Before Marketing
Six years in fixed income means I understand your products and your buyers from the inside. A generalist SEO agency learns your market on your budget.
Only Financial Brands, Since 2016
Every client has been in finance, crypto or fintech, the categories Google holds to its strictest “Your Money or Your Life” quality standards.
SEO and AI Search as One Workstream
Many agencies sell SEO and GEO as two retainers. I run them together, because the same signals drive both: clear entity information, trusted mentions and content AI can quote.
Accuracy Over Volume
Every number gets a source, and product facts are checked against the client’s own documentation. Getting a fee or a license wrong costs more than publishing one article fewer.
Published Thinking Every Week
Prompt Horizon shares client experiments, new studies and Google’s documentation changes every week, so you can see how I think before we ever speak.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Who Is Alex Lielacher?
Alexander Lielacher is a London-based SEO and AI search consultant for financial brands and the founder of Rise Up Media. He worked in fixed income at RBS and ANZ before moving into finance writing and marketing, and he has worked only with financial brands since 2016.
What Does an AI Search Consultant Do?
An AI search consultant helps a brand show up, and be described correctly, in answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Mode. The work builds on SEO but adds prompt tracking, accuracy fixes, third-party mentions and content that AI tools can quote. It matters because buyers now shortlist providers inside an AI answer before they visit a website.
What Did Alex Lielacher Do Before Marketing?
He spent six years in fixed income, on the corporate bond trading desk at RBS and in fixed-income sales at ANZ. That background is why he works only with financial brands: he understands the products and the buyers from the inside.
Does Alex Only Work With Crypto Companies?
No. Crypto and Bitcoin companies are a large part of the client list, but he works with financial brands broadly, including fintechs, online brokers, financial advisors, and asset managers. What they share is that accuracy and trust decide whether AI tools recommend them.
How Much Does It Cost to Work With Alex Lielacher?
Consulting with Alex directly starts at $2,500 a month, and done-for-you programs through Rise Up Media start at $3,500 a month. Most engagements begin with a free AI visibility check, so you can see where your brand stands before committing.
